My Creative Journey
There is a moment - that precious instant when the loaded brush meets wet paper and color begins to dance and bloom. Everything else falls away as I'm suspended in pure creation and the magic that exists in the spaces between.
Embracing the fantastical with the images in my mind that demand to be released delivering wonder and beauty in the flow of vibrant colors.
There is an unpredictability of wet paper as pigments play together and I just delightfully play along.
About the Artist
As a South Florida based watercolor artist with over 20 years of discovery, I'm constantly being delighted and awed by the spontaneous magic that presents itself with this marriage of pigment and water. This medium requires intentional brush strokes that can't be undone creating the need for a content balance between skill, intention and spontaneity.
My work has been recognized with prestigious awards from the Miami Watercolor Society and their talented independent judges.
